Mechatronics Laboratory

The Mechatronics Laboratory at the Department for Mechanical and Production Engineering is an inspiring hub where innovation meets creativity in the fields of mechatronics and robotics. Whether you're curious to explore cutting-edge technology or eager to bring your ideas to life, this dynamic space invites you to discover, design, and innovate.

The lab is divided into two key areas:

  • Teaching Space: A dedicated area for classes and workshops, equipped with 8 workbenches, seating 16 people.
  • Project Space: A collaborative space for mid-sized mechatronic projects, which can be used concurrently with teaching. Equipped with 5 workstations, seating an additional 10 people

Facilities

  • Mechatronics workbenches – power supplies, signal generators and hand tools
  • Four soldering stations – two in each section
  • Extensive selection of electronic components
  • Two VR suites (2x2m) – one in each section and VR headsets for loan
  • Field toolboxes – for mechatronics field trips
  • Large project table
  • Screens and keyboards for microcontrollers
  • Sink for water-based projects
