XLAB is the MPE department's prototyping and machine laboratory/workshop.
XLAB is an environment where innovation and engineering meet design, programming, and prototyping.
You access LAB with your student card.

To gain access to XLAB, you must complete a safety course on the use of the equipment. You can sign up for the offered safety courses, which are held several times throughout the semester.
Additionally, you can gain access to XLAB's various tools by taking small courses on XLAB's BrightSpace page.
For each course you pass, you will receive a sticker that is placed on your student card.
XLAB is always open, provided you have gained access.

XLAB is open to everyone, including those without access, during MakerSpace events. Here, you can participate in exciting technological projects during your free time, such as building an autonomous boat, a human-sized robot, and much more. The only limit is your imagination.
