Profil

I am a Research Assistant at Applied Public Health, Aarhus University. My educational background includes a degree in Psychology from Aarhus University, which qualifies me as a licensed psychologist. In addition I holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science.

As a psychologist, I am passionate about exploring ways to improve the mental health and well-being of children and young people through collaboration across stakeholders. I am particularly interested in how we can create the best conditions across sectors for children and young people to thrive and how we can ensure they receive timely and appropriate support.

Forskning

My research interests centre on mental health and well-being, particularly among children and adolescents. I have contributed to research projects exploring primary school teachers’ emotional competencies in everyday classroom management, as well as a systems-based, co-creative research project designed to promote physical activity among children across several Danish municipalities. I work primarily with qualitative research methods.

Arbejdsområder

I am currently involved in the Triving Communities Lab (TrivselsLab) project, a partnership initiative between Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality and the Centre for Healthy Living and Well-being aimed at promoting the mental well-being of children and young people in Faaborg-Midtfyn municipality. As researchers from Aarhus University me and my collegues contribute to the project in dual roles, acting both as co-creators in the development of the initiative and as independent evaluators of its processes and outcomes.
