I am a health economist, with primary research interest at the intersection of health, human capital, and labor markets. I am also interested in topics related to inequalities, informal care, and global health. A central focus of my current research is understanding the long-term consequences of early-life circumstances.
I teach a thesis seminar on Use of Demographic and Health Surveys at the BA programme in Public Health Science and Advanced Health Economics and Demography at the Masters programme in Public Health Science. I also supervise independent student assignments as well as thesis.
