I am a medical doctor and assistant professor researching the safe use of medicines during pregnancy. I am particularly interested in the use of multiple medicines at the same time and how this may affect the mother, the pregnancy, and the child. My research combines health data with advanced epidemiological methods and machine learning.
My work focuses on studies of medicine use during pregnancy, using data from national health registries, medical records, and questionnaires. I collaborate with researchers in Denmark and internationally. I supervise master’s, research-year, and PhD students and teach at bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD level. I completed the University Pedagogical Programme in June 2026.
