Lewy body disease comprises distinct subtypes that have different disease progressions. The project is focusing on neuropathological examinations. Using immunohistochemistry, I study the degree of pathology present in the brain and the propagation profiles. Disease burden can be classified using staging systems. Additionally, I investigate the disease burden by quantifying the pathology using digital image analysis.
