As a clinical specialist and associate professor, I work with patient and public involvement in health research and clinical practice. I develop and implement approaches that strengthen patient partnerships, health literacy and mental health. I am a registered nurse with an MPH and PhD and have extensive experience in research, teaching and strategic development. I lead a research group on patient and public involvement.
My primary area of responsibility is patient and public involvement in research and clinical practice, including research, implementation, strategy and capacity building. I lead research and development activities, supervise researchers and students, and collaborate with patients, clinicians, managers and research environments. I also develop and embed methods and infrastructure that make patient involvement an integral part of research.
