As a medical doctor specializing in infectious diseases I am interested in the immune system and how it responds to invading pathogens. I am currently working as a postdoc where I study HIV and chronic hepatitis B. My primary focus is understanding viral persistence and strategies to finding a cure. I have a degree in medicine and a PhD from Aarhus University.
My main research area is within the fields of HIV and chronic hepatitis B. I am involved in clinical trial studies and primarily work with experimental analyses assessing T cell and NK cell immunity.
