As a researcher/clinical specialist at Aarhus University Hospital, I conduct translational neuroscience research focused on large-animal brain anatomy and preclinical disease models. My work centers on mapping minipig neuroanatomy, quantitative tissue analysis, and evaluating neurosurgical interventions. Leveraging a background in biology and neuroscience, I specialize in stereotaxic procedures, histological processing, and digital image analysis to advance clinical research within the CENSE group.
My primary area of responsibility is planning and executing histological evaluation from various experiments, including porcine disease modeling, stereotaxic neurosurgery, and neuroanatomical mapping. I also contribute to computerized image analysis, protocol optimization, and mentoring junior researchers within the CENSE group.
