As an assistant professor in Søren R. Paludan's lab, I conduct research regarding the underlying mechanisms driving long-term neurological sequelae following viral infection. I have a background in neuroscience and neurodegenerative disease, with experience in in vivo experimentation, histology, and cell culture.
I work primarily with in vivo mouse experiments which encompasses surgeries and behavioural tests, and also the subsequent analyses of post-mortem brain tissue, including qRT-PCR, histology, and imaging.
