My overall research area focuses on the part of our peripheral nervous system that enables our somatic sensations including: touch, temperature, body position, and pain. More specifically, I investigate how the supporting cells in this nervous system function and interact with nerve cells, primarily using microscopy techniques. I hold a Master’s degree in Molecular Medicine from Aarhus University and a PhD in Biomedicine from Aarhus University.
My area of work involves research and project work aimed at generating new knowledge about the supporting cells of the peripheral nervous system.
