I am an Associate Professor and Group Leader at DANDRITE and the Department of Biomedicine, Aarhus University. My research investigates how different cell types in the brain develop and why some are more vulnerable than others in neurological disease. My group studies brain development and neurodegeneration, particularly Alzheimer’s disease, using single-cell and spatial genomics, advanced molecular imaging, and experimental models.
