Cell biologist by training with a focus on tissue organization and regeneration. As a postdoc, I am currently researching mechanisms driving age-related macular degeneration in The Laboratory of Retinal Gene Therapy (Prof. Thomas Corydon), under the guidence of Assoc. Prof. Anne Louise Askou. I investigate how intracellular trafficking and cell signaling are regulated in health and disease in order to identify next-generation therapeutical targets.
My primary area of responsibility is research and I also participate in teaching.
