I am interested in microbial communities and their effect on plant stress resilience. My focus is on the microbial-root interactions in relation to plant stress in different cropping systems, with a goal of sustainable plant production. My studies use cutting edge molecular tools such as metabarcoding, transcriptomics and metagenomics.
