As an assistant professor and researcher, I work with person-centred perioperative care and treatment, focusing on symptom burden, worry and recovery throughout the perioperative pathway, including endoscopic procedures. My research focuses on patients’ needs and risk factors, as well as the development and testing of interventions to support patient pathways and recovery. I am a registered nurse and hold a PhD in the perioperative field.
My primary area of work is clinical research, including the development, planning and conduct of research projects. I also work on developing new areas of research, preparing grant applications and establishing national and international research collaborations. In addition, I teach and supervise students and clinical colleagues.
