I am a medical doctor specialising in urology and a postdoctoral researcher at Aarhus University. My research work focuses on penile cancer and other penile diseases.
I lead the ongoing development and maintenance of the Danish National Penile Cancer Database (DaPeCa-data), and conduct research using national data covering more than 25 years of penile cancer management in Denmark.
In parallel, I am developing an image-based artificial intelligence decision-support tool for the diagnosis and management of penile lesions. The project aims to support clinicians in recognising penile lesions and improving diagnostic decision-making, while contributing to research into the use of artificial intelligence in urology.
